What you receive

Starter: 1 A4520 cartridge, no pre-filters. Pro: cartridge + 10 pre-filters. Master: cartridge + 30 pre-filters. Respirator sold separately. A401 retainer is not listed as included.

Fit & compatibility

Uses the A4521 pre-filter and A401 retainer system. Does not replace A8510 bayonet or 40mm threaded cartridges.

Use & replacement

Follow the specified cartridge change schedule. Do not wash cartridges or rely on smell alone to determine service life.

    A4520 is the cartridge component for compatible A420P assemblies. Confirm the cartridge specification matches your exposure.

      Three parts. One matched assembly.

      A4520 cartridge: The gas/vapor cartridge component; match its specification to your exposure.

      A4521 pre-filter: The replaceable outer particulate pad.

      A401 retainer: The cover that holds the pad in place.

      Use only the combinations permitted by the A420P and cartridge instructions. A8501/A8502 parts belong to a different cartridge system.

      CHECK. ASSEMBLE. FIT. STORE.

      1. CHECK: Confirm the A420P facepiece, A4520 cartridge, A4521 pad and A401 cover match the supplied instructions.

      2. ASSEMBLE: Position the pad and secure the A401 cover as directed. Inspect all connections.

      3. FIT: Adjust the facepiece and perform the user seal check in its instructions before every use.

      4. STORE: Keep clean, dry components in a suitable sealed container away from contamination. Do not wash filtration media.

      Usage & Safety

      A4520 is the Organic Vapor cartridge option for the compatible A420P system. Check the specific contaminants and limits on its label and instructions. It is not a universal cartridge for every chemical.

      Use the compatible A420P/A4520 system with A4521 pads and A401 retainers. Do not substitute A8501/A8502 parts, A85-series cartridges or 40mm threaded filters. Confirm your exact facepiece and assembly instructions before ordering.

      Use a cartridge change schedule based on the identified contaminant, exposure conditions and manufacturer instructions. Do not rely on smell alone. Replace damaged cartridges and do not wash filtration media.

      Replace pads when dirty, damaged, wet or when breathing resistance increases. Follow the supplied instructions. Do not wash filter media. A pack quantity is not a guaranteed number of days or weeks of protection.

      Replace any cracked cover or loose retaining tabs.
