What you receive

1 A420D facepiece, 1 retainer, goggles, earplugs and 10 / 20 / 40 A4501 pads in Starter / Pro / Master. The 15-piece count refers to Starter, counting the two earplugs separately.

Fit & compatibility

Uses A4501 particulate pads for the A420D system. Particulate pads are not gas/vapor cartridges.

Use & replacement

Remove cartridges and filters before cleaning the facepiece. Follow the supplied care instructions. Do not wash filtration media. Store clean and dry; follow an appropriate cartridge change schedule.

Choose filtration for the identified contaminant and concentration. Read the product instructions and material Safety Data Sheet. Air-purifying respirators do not supply oxygen; do not use in oxygen-deficient, unknown or immediately dangerous atmospheres. Check the face seal before every use.

    Clean the facepiece: Remove the filter pads first and follow the supplied cleaning instructions.

    Inspect: Check the straps, seal, valve and retainer before use. Replace damaged components.

    Replace pads: Replace when dirty, wet, damaged or when breathing resistance increases. Do not wash filter media. There is no fixed 1–3 day replacement interval for every job.
